About Me
Hello all. Passionate person, compassionate towards others, am fun-loving and easing-going, laugh easy and love to travel.
I am a pretty political / socially conscious person, though I haven't done a lot of activism in a bit. I am terrible at small talk but love talking to folks and creating genuine connections. I live for deep convo's and questions! I enjoy poetry and sing for fun. I love making friends, and believe deeply in connecting to people from every corner of the world. I am pretty into rock climbing, indoor and out, love to garden (mostly food), and probably have more hobbies I haven't said. Recommend a book!
I am a pretty heavy traveler and have lived in Costa Rica, Germany and Hawaii, and I have been to Iceland, Nicaragua, Norway, Spain, Italy, and a bunch of states (driven across the United States 3 times now)
I have taken some time away from traveling, but I am now getting back to my traveling times. I am excited to meet and share living with folks!
New to this, so send me suggestions if you have them!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am couchsurfing for a couple of reasons (sorry its long):
(1) I usually travel alone, but I also don't believe you can fully enjoy a space without dealing with the people of the place you travel to. Couchsurfing is a on-the-ground window to actually get invested in the cultures I am traveling to.
(2) I love making friends. I have life-long friends throughout the entirety of the United States and visit them often, so I hope to have this same experience throughout the rest of the world.
(3) I don't come from money, but truly believe traveling should be available to everyone; the only way that happens is through building a international community like this towards love of others

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At the age of 15, I flew to L.A for a total of 5 hours to visit my friend and then flew back, all over a night and all while my mother thought I was 'staying the night at my friends house'. So, an adventurous soul. Also have been skydiving!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have stories for days. I love to co-cook with others and have a set in outdoor information that is helpful. I know some German and Spanish.
