I am a senior student in Xi'am Jiaotong University. Because I decided to work in my lab for another year after graduating from here, I still have two more years in Xi'an, this wonderful city in which I already spent three fourth of my college life.
I spent my sixth semester in HongKong as an exchange student in HKUST. I was very interested in traveling before I went to HongKong, but just interested. When in HongKong, I got to know a lot of people from different cultural and religious backgrounds. We went hiking, dragon boating, drinking and eating and chatting with each other, we exchange with each other our experiences, views of different issues happened or is happening in this world and also our daily life backhome which might be and usually was fresh new for other people.
That way, I finally found the true meaning of traveling, it is sometimes about the breathtaking landscape. But what most important is the people we get to know, the culture we get to feel by interacting with them and the alternatives we get to be exposed to which we did not have a chance to in our own culture.
