About Me
A Malaysian who's interested to explore the unexplored and see the world through a fresh new perspective! Any like-minded traveler with a sense of humour and adventure will be great! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To explore the world through the eyes of the locals and exchange different cultures that we might have.
[I believe tourist spots are there for their novelty, but it is when we look deeper that we see a place's identity.]
And that's why I love walking in the morning, in a new place :) The rustle and bustle of folks starting their day. Or the peace and serenity.
Most importantly, I want to connect with everyone around the world, and be inspired by them! :) Just reading through all the CSers' profiles, already got me so inspired!
In a way, I hope to expand my comfort zone as well. Travelling, meeting and socialising. For some, this comes easy. But for others, there are a lot of channels to try it out :)
Interests
- I love photography! Recently, got myself a mirrorless cam, after my DLSR got stolen. Hope this will set me in a right track! Interested in portraits, streets, and cityscapes photography. Let me know if you'd like to also be photographed, still learning :)
- Was a barista for a short while, so got to explore the art of making coffee. After that, I got hooked by the coffee culture, esp when they started mushrooming in KL, Malaysia.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music : I listened to a variety of different music and languages. I am quite hooked on Korean music as well. Do give it a chance, it might surprise you. Some favourite singers: Owl City, Mamamoo, Troye Sivan, 2NE1, B1A4, Eminem, Karmin, Leehom, Maroon 5.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I guess, still being alive! That's something!
But jokes aside, I'm not sure what I could consider as amazing, to be put here. A lot of it has got to do with personal growth, and that I could be proud of :)
One of the great organisation that I had the opportunity to be in, was AIESEC. It is one of the world's largest youth organisation, focused on international youth exchange, and I believed that has changed me in some way or the other.
O yea, I have done a few road trips domestically with my friends in schools, and I can be quite proud to say that I have went to all the States in Malaysia, except for one more :) Not a small feat, considering a lot of people would prefer international vacations.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am definitely looking into the exchange of cultures and LEARNing from everyone from different places.
I can definitely TEACH you some photography skills, provided you're not a pro. Otherwise, hey, pretend I didn't say anything. I could also practice English with you, if that's what you want to learn :)
I will most definitely SHARE with you anything that I could think of and my interests :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can get something from my home country, Malaysia, for you! Or anything that you have in mind, if you requests from me earlier :)
