About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To discover how to live a 'good life'

ABOUT ME

I asked them; they said: Trustworthy, hard working, generous, kind, absolutely hilarious, always happy, great friend, cheeky, fun loving, talented, can play instruments extremely well. I was rather flattered!

PHILOSOPHY

Journey of discovery? I draw philosophy from books, film, music, people and nature

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Only surfing so far. Looking forward to hosting once I work out where 'home' is

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Amazing - a testament to how the people of this earth can be so caring, hospitable and interesting to each other

Interests

Music, food and games are BIG. Other people are important, whether friends, family or not. I like time and space - thinking is important. I love philosophy and musing on spirituality. Cards are amazing! Technology, pictures, films and box sets are great ways of passing the time. I like sport but suck at most. I'm a shameful watcher of pro-wrestling and a loud watcher of American Football.

Music, Movies, and Books

Shawshank, Lost in Translation, Bill Murray in general, Oldboy, Frank Turner, High Contrast, Philosophy Books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A man once said to me that the two most important events in life are the day you are born and the day that you discover why.

The sunset, sea organ and cheap beer haze of Zadar

The rolling cragginess of the Black Mountains in a foggy, misty haze

Teach, Learn, Share

Stories. Music. Poetry. Youth work best practice. Restorative Justice. Diabolo. Philosophy.

I would love to learn poi, how to surf properly, any interesting musical instrument and more about sustainable living.
