About Me

I'm 24 years of age travelling through the United States by myself and want to visit as many cities as I can while I'm here. Hope someone can help me out :)

I'm leaving the country on August 20th from Chicago so looking to travel around until then. I'm willing to go anywhere.

I am open to anything. I want to see as much of this world, I want to experience different cultures and most of all meet people who are like minded. Why stay in a hotel by myself when I can stay with a local and get the insider knowledge.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a newbie on the couchsurfing scene. I have worked for the past 3 months in New York and now I want to travel around the states and explore some areas. I'm currently finding my feet in the adult world, & am yet to find somewhere I'd like to set down roots (too much exploring & adventuring to be done yet!) so unfortunately I don't have a couch to offer up right now. I hope that I will one day soon be able to return the couch offers when I return home to Ireland- I'll make sure to keep you posted :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Toots and the maytals, Bob marley and the wailers, The specials, Aretha Franklin, Sister Sledge, Chic. Kool and the Gang, Stevie Wonder, Curtis Mayfield, Bee Gees.

A lot of Soul, funk, Ska and reggae. But I listen to all sorts

I will watch any type of movie bar horror films. Love David Attenborough documentaries and real life documentaries about different cultures particularly those to do with food.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a night on an uninhabited island of the west coast of Ireland with some of my closest friends just star gazing, telling stories and just escaping from reality.

Teach, Learn, Share

Iadvocate passionate dedication to the pursuit of short-term goals. Be micro-ambitious. Put your head down and work with pride on whatever is in front of you… you never know where you might end up. Just be aware that the next worthy pursuit will probably appear in your periphery. Which is why you should be careful of long-term dreams. If you focus too far in front of you, you won’t see the shiny thing out the corner of your eye.

Happiness is like an orgasm: if you think about it too much, it goes away. Keep busy and aim to make someone else happy, and you might find you get some as a side effect.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I make a mean whiskey sour or any other cocktail that my host my want.

Can tell off mythical tales from Ireland or drunken stories work too.
