Overview
About Me
I love learning all about the world around me, and thus have a passion for learning about places and meeting people.
I grew up in Ohio, USA and went to college in North Carolina. I ran a rice farm in Sierra Leone for a while and then came back to the US to finish up school. I worked for a few years in the US for a consulting firm and now live in Bogota while working with an agriculture company.
I'm up for a party or a coffee, a hike or a museum, a restaurant or a camp-fire meal - and I'm always up for an adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books
Around the World in 80 Days has to be one of my favorite books from when I was a kid. Now I like to listen to podcasts and listen to books on tape while I'm in the airport (since I travel a bunch for work) or while I'm running.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share stories of growing up and living in the American Mid-West. It doesn't have the most dynamic landscape in the world, but it's one of the best places on the planet I've ever found!
