About Me
ABOUT ME
I would describe myself as a pretty easy going person. I enjoy good company, good food, cooking, traveling, meeting new people, playing guitar, playing and watching sports, sourdough bread and a nice beer. My girlfriend is from Majorca and we have been living in Auckland for the past two years. In October 2018 we will travel to Australia and spend up to a year there, no concrete plans yet as to where we will work but we'll travel around a bit first. We are both clean, tidy and respectful.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I spent a year in South America when I finished college and I used couchsurfing a lot when I was travelling. It was also a great way to meet people through meetings and language exchanges. I went on to host a number of people when I was living in my home city of Cork a few years ago.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfing has been a great experience. I can really appreciate the idea behind this community and the opportunity it offers to people who want to travel.
Interests
I'm big into sports especially irish football, rugby, snowboarding, cycling and table tennis. Like most other couch surfers I love to travel but my other interests include exercise, hiking, nature, cooking, healthy eating, learning Spanish, farming and permaculture.

Some of my favorite movies would include pulp fiction, brave heart, shawshank redemption, training day, scarface and most comedies.
A lot of the recent books I have been reading are related to sustainable agriculture, sourdough bread baking and travel.
