I'm a 26 year old regular guy with dreadlocks that studies and works and likes having a beer at the end of a long day. I'm a sophomore at USM and a lover of each day I spent there!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first heard of Couch Surfing back home in Sao Paulo, Brazil, around 3 years ago. They had a nice 2-page article about it in a magazine I was randomly reading. I found it really interesting right away, but never did anything about it; I just had the thought - What a great idea! Then I decided to move to USA for college, and during my frist Spring Break (I came in the Spring semester) I was totally devoted to it. I went backpacking to Panama City Beach. I arrived in the beach and had no place to stay. I created my account using the computer in one of those huge hotels lobbys. I was able to be hosted not for that same night but for the next one, and the ones after that. That week-long experience just blew my mind and because of that I started trying Couch Surfing more and more. This Website is an amazing tool to meet new people, save money while traveling and share experiences, thoughts and opinions.

兴趣

I am interested in a vast array of things. From politics to religion, from psychology to life style, from traveling experiences to movies tastes, arts and music - I could say I am fairly eclectic. Coming from a different country and having different backgrounds sets off my interest in other cultures. Sports is a great interest in my life. I love it. And I love this collegiate sports they have here in USA. I try to attend most home games we have, for any kind of sport.

I am not much of the reader type kind of guy. I get sleepy easily doing that. I also get easily sleepy just driving to Walmart with friends.I am an ecletic person; I listen to about anything. It's really just about the mood, where you are and who you're with.I enjoy watching movies. I enjoy them a lot. I have seen a lot and lots of classics are my favorites. Such as: Forrest Gump, Independence Day and others.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I backpacked for a whole month this last Winter break in Oahu, Hawaii. If it wasn't for all the couch surfers I would not have made it through. I sky dived there, went snorkeling and scuba diving. Amazing place! I hope I get to visit again soon!
