About Me

ABOUT ME

Generally a friendly person. Student at ANU with a desire to see the world, and to meet new people.

Also, I'm the one on the right in the picture. :)

PHILOSOPHY

I live to achieve. We only get to live once, and I try to make the most of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I intend to travel a fair bit, and enjoy the opportunity to explore the world while I'm still reasonably young and not tied down.

When I have appropriate accommodation (ie something bigger than a dorm room that barely fits me) I hope to return the favour by hosting people from around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First-timer. Appreciate the opportunity for more couchsurfing experience.

Interests

Aviation. I hold a Private Pilots Licence, so if the pilot on your flight passes out and there's no other airline pilots, I'm the guy you want on your flight!

Snowsports. I'm a moderately good ski-er and beginner snowboarder, so if you're into skiing or snowboarding I'd love to hear about it!

Law and International Politics. I'm fascinated by how societies are structured and how they relate with each other. It's a little dorky, but the world is a pretty damn interesting place.

Dance. Not a professional dancer or anything, but don't mind learning a thing or two.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly into EDM music, or anything you can dance to really. Big fan of going out to clubs, always a good night out.

Not much of a movie person, but Source Code and Bridge to Terabithia are a couple which come to mind.

Bookwise, always been a fan of the crime genre,.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flying a plane across Port Phillip bay on a beautiful sunny spring day. Not only was it amazing being in control of a beautiful machine, but the view of both Melbourne's CBD and out towards the mouth of the bay and the ocean was absolutely spectacular.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been very lucky to have a lot of amazing experiences in life. I'd be more than happy to teach anybody about many of the things I've had an opportunity to learn.

One of my favourite things I've learnt would probably have to be Linguistics. It's amazing how the English language has come together, and interesting to learn about all the different ways it can function.

I'd also be happy to teach people the basics of how to fly a light aircraft, if that's something that interests them. I'm not qualified to properly teach everything, but you'd be surprised how simple the basics are!

I also know a decent amount about Australian culture, and would love to share that with anybody with an interest.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer to share not only what I've learnt, but also stories of all the great experiences in life I've been lucky enough to have. Equally, I'm eager to hear the stories of others, as many people lead interesting lives.
