CURRENT MISSION

Currently doing some soul searching and challenging myself in the States. Have so far travelled the East coast on my own and am moving on to the West!

ABOUT ME

I am a typical Piscean, trustworthy and easygoing, daydreaming my way through life. It has worked for me so far, and I am now traveling in order to challenge myself and see what I am capable of when on my own. I love to laugh, socialise, I love all kinds of music from all over the world, I want to meet interesting people, be inspired, and learn new cultures and experiences.
I want to make the most of my time here and and not waste a second...which is why I'm currently on the internet yet again!

I should also say that I am gay. I have very much enjoyed learning about the different communities in different areas as they seem to differ so much from where I live in England. With that said, being gay isn't all I am and have to offer, and so I would hope that this would not put anyone off sliding a couch my way.

PHILOSOPHY

I think having an open mind about life is what it's all about. Treat others how you wish to be treated. Never be afraid to learn new things and allow yourself new experiences. Most importantly, WHATEVER you do in life...make sure it makes you happy....too cheesy?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would really like to meet people who have a different background to my own. I have so far found the States very different from the UK, so to meet someone who is from one of the locations I visit would be amazing. Even if it is showing me around the area or simply chatting to me about where they come from etc, it would be greatly appreciated! Once I have finished traveling, I will then be able to return that favour in England.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm very new to this, so have little experience. However, from what fellow travellers have told I can't wait to start 'surfing' and meet people from all over. Eventually, I hope to gain enough experience so that people will feel comfortable staying with me in UK.

I love to write. In 2006 I was an intern at an online magazine in Hollywood and loved it, it involved attending all kinds of events and expressing opinions that an everyday reader could relate to - I hope to turn my travelling/life experiences into a very mysterious book one day!
My degree(major?) opened my mind to so many aspects of the Media so I have gained much experience in various areas like TV, Radio, Journalism, PR and Advertising. My favourite so far has been TV.
I also have a passion for photography and art work which has developed just from visiting various venues in the States.

I also enjoy all kinds of music from popular to obscure and prefer live gigs/performances.

I like to challenge myself with different things and not get stuck in one routine as well as meeting new, interesting people on the way.

音乐、电影和书籍

I enjoy playwrights of all kinds. Don't know of any books that have really moved me however I loved Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger.
I mostly like Comedies and Horror out of a movie. Quite a contrast, but that's what I like.
I'm very eclectic and and don't restrict myself to specific kinds of music, I just like songs that match my mood at that certain time.

At the age of 22, I feel it's now that amazing things will start to happen for me. Travelling here on my own and trying to become more independent is my start to those things. By the end of it all, and with the help of 'couchsurfing' I feel my stories will become endless
