About Me

Hey!

I love coffee, reading and jazz. I'm currently in my 4th month of backpacking, and now in Sri Lanka! I've spent a month in Europe and a life-changing month in Turkey encountering the most insane and inspiring people, and a month in SE Asia which has got to be my favourite so far and can't wait to go back

My goal to open up a cafe/bakery one day as an open space for artsy minded people to share ideas, work and enjoy some delicious pastry (most important thing is catering to dietary requirements so all can enjoy!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After quitting my job to change my environment, I've found that I've learnt the most from my encounters with people from all walks of life. I'd like to continue getting insights into the world through the eyes of the unique amazing people that I meet

Interests

Just finished reading A Song of Ice and Fire, now reading some ADHD psychology and have started the stormlight archive.

I'm creating a blog for my travels on oatmocha.com which is still in construction!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got caught in a storm during a hike in Cappadocia, hid in a cave while lightning was striking right outside with:
- a family we just met during the hike,
- a dog that decided to follow us from the valley
- and my 3 new friends I met in Istanbul,
and navigated everyone back to the town as the sun was setting just in time before dark!
