ABOUT ME

26, trying/learning to be creative with documentary film. at university after a brief hiatus working for the 'man' in London. friendly, relaxed, slightly eccentric (but who isn't?) but, hopefully with feet on the ground.

loves: beautiful films, books, television, pictures, cycling in the countryside, wwoofing (in the sun only), playing guitar (badly), talking to people, playing football, talk radio (world service above all else), trying to write stories, learning about how to grow up (and failing at the same thing).

loves/hates: big cities - especially London.

PHILOSOPHY

life is tough - but living it doesn't have to be.

not much at the moment - but when/if i have a place of my own i would love to get more involved.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not through this website but... once had an old geezer in Pamplona, Spain who helped me out after finding out I was going to sleep rough in the bus station. His wife cooked the most amazing stew and then shared a sizeable amount of local liqueur with them - leading to a nasty eruption on bus to andalucia the next day... (if i knew what the liqueur was i would recommend not drinking it)

Graham Greene, GG Marquez, Salman Rushdie, Rohinton Mistry - best book I've read for a long time is Italo Calvino's 'if on a winter's night a traveller...' - blew my little mind.
