About Me

CURRENT MISSION:
Hello CS community, I am currently living in Girdwood, Alaska. I get to call this incredible place home for the time being. To top it off I am living in a gay household with two other guys and a dog. We call out place "The Gay Chalet" This summer I plan to to a bunch of speed hiking with all the hours of daylight Alaska summers offer and maybe pick up pack rafting.

ABOUT ME:
I have quite the auto-biography when I take a moment to lay it all out.
I love any activity outside from whitewater rafting in the summer to tele-mark skiing during the winter. I grew up in Billings, Montana with a three siblings. I earned my undergraduate in architecture from Montana State University in 2015. After apply for countless internships in architecture without luck I decided take a one-way flight South America for a few months which turned into 7 months. Along the way I did a work-away at a small hotel in Chile and a extended stay at a yoga retreat in Peru. After returning to the States I got a offer to help someone sail on the East Coast, so I jumped on board and sailed into the sunset. From the East Coast to took a hop skip and a leap and landed in San Diego where I thought I could find Architectural work and feed my desire to train for triathlons, that dream came unraveled took my broke ass to Phoenix, Arizona and ultimately back to Montana. Fast forward to 2018, I was living in Seattle and working a private driver until I experienced a horrible cycling accident that inevitably caused me to quite my job. I squirreled away my few belongings in storage and set off to visit a friend in Denali National Park, Alaska. On that trip to Alaska I left the interior to to do a coastal tour where I then met Tom and Burke who are now my roommates.

PHILOSOPHY:
"Set no path, never lose your way

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been on either end of the spectrum when is comes to couchsurfing. Having been both a host and surfer. I have had wonderful experiences meeting new people at home and away.

Interests

I am generalists, not a specialist; I know a little bit about a lot of things, but not everything about one thing. I understand that I still have a lot to learn. My interests are widespread and varied, from reading, watercolor painting, and having fun in the outdoors, to exploring new places while enjoying food, music and local brews.
