About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Move to Paris and start my Sociology masters! It's a bit of a challenge, my french is very good but could be better, and just having to sort out like my entire life at short notice is pretty damn stressful. But hopefully it'll all be well ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To find new people to meet and hang out with and hopefully stay with as well while traveling - I know from the past how wonderful the people are you meet through this site.
Hopefully when I have my own place I'll be able to extend that welcome to others.
Interests
Jazz Music, especially to play. Walking, the more hills the better. Good food I haven't eaten before. Reading and talking about books, sitting around for long talks. Computer gaming too.

Music, Movies, and Books
Jazz Jazz Jazz! Modern politics books, or modern history. Any really difficult philosophy book. Or some nice science fiction. But I'll read anything.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walking in the Himalayas was pretty special....
Teach, Learn, Share
I have experience language teaching and would be more than happy help anyone with their English, either just talking or studying from a book. I could also teach jazz piano, if you have a keyboard and fancy learning to bash out some Louis Armstrong or something!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I recently came back from 6 months volunteering in and around the refugee camps on Lesvos and Samos, in the Aegean; it was quite the experience (to put it mildly) and I'd be happy to share a few stories, given the right atmosphere.
