Ride my bike across the US and then travel all around Europe!

ABOUT ME

Young, open-minded male seeks couch. I grew up in Sydney, Australia. After spending a year living in New York (Brooklyn!) I'm embarking on a new adventure with my best friend. We're (hoping) going to ride across the US from San Francisco to New York. We arrive in SF at the start of April. The ride is 4000 miles in total and will take 2.5 months. That's kind of scary, but it will be an amazing adventure and an unforgettable experience. We hope to meet lots of great people along the way and see all the beautiful countryside. Afterwards I am heading to Europe solo for another advendture!

PHILOSOPHY

Glass half full. Live and experience absolutely everything possible. Surround yourself with interesting and positive people. Life is good.

Making new friends and meeting so many diverse people is really the best part about couchsurfing. Being able to hear so many different stories and world perspectives is a great pleasure. I love sharing my interests or skills with people I meet through Couchsurfing and of course showing off my city (Sydney or New York).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Meeting new OS friends through in Sydney and New York. I loved hosting and couch surfing when in New York. It was a great way to meet people when I first arrived there and I enjoyed showing people around my neighborhood and the best city in the world.

Intereses

Travel (duh). Music and writing are right up at the top of the list. Hanging out with my beautiful friends. I like cycling. I like squash. I like football (soccer). I like the great outdoors. Animals. Good food. Spear fishing (that one is new). Dance.

This is the beginnings of the future CouchSurfing University, a school where everyone's a student and everyone's a teacher. Surfing isn't just about a place to sleep. It's about exchange. From esoteric knowledge to practical skills, you have special knowledge that others will benefit from knowing.
