Overview
About Me
My wife and I have hosted many people for the past 5 or so years. We also now do Airbnb too. We love to travel but hate to leave our dogs at home but fortunately our neighbors are very kind to take care of them. My wife, in addition to being a college professor, does a lot of traveling for her job as an art therapist working for a non-profit that helps children recover from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after natural or man-made disasters through www.chartaid.org I specialize in criminal and family law. I also serve on the board of directors for my local animal shelter.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We like meeting new people and then staying in touch through Facebook and just having lots of friends from all over the world.
Interests
I like animals (especially dogs of all kinds) and hiking outdoors. My wife takes lots of photographs but I just try to remember the sights and sounds in my head. I also like to watch and play baseball and hockey.

Music, Movies, and Books
One of my favorite movies is North by Northwest. I also really like Despicable Me. I don't read too much as I work long hours.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I rowed a gondola under the Rialto bridge in Venice.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am hoping to go to Italy this year (2015) and work on my Italian. I read it O.K. but speaking it is much harder.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to share my stories. Some funny some sad but always about making connections.
