ABOUT ME
Hello! I've been a graduate for about a year now and haven't got much accomplished apart from reading a few books. So instead of committing to full time work I'm off traveling and enjoying myself. I've been in south-east Asia for three months making my way around on the cheap and now have my sights set on New Zealand.
I studied english lit at university, and thus have no real job prospects. I'd like to go into something creative, but am putting off starting to think about it for as long as possible.
I am new to couch surfing, but not new to meeting people and sharing experiences and swapping stories. I'm relaxed and outgoing, so hopefully can meet some cool people here!
PHILOSOPHY
Right now I'd like to see as much as the world as possible, and share experiences with a diverse group of people.
But my real personal philosophy is based around getting 8 hours sleep a day, which is a battle for everyone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am travelling at the moment and looking for people to share their knowledge, stories or couch in return for my bad jokes.
I'm also looking forward to being able to host people my self, once i settle down and return home (which is a long way on the horizon I hope)

Music, Movies, and Books
Such a hard question to answer.
Recently I've been listening to the national, arcade fire, gil scott heron, nick cave, and as ever bands like radiohead and artists like dylan.
TV: Sapranos, The Wire, Breaking Bad
I love reading and have been attempting to get stuck into some Spanish and Latin American authors. Borges, Bolano, Marquez and Llosa are all in my cross hairs at the moment. I've recently finished reading some Coetzee and also McEwan and I'm always trying to read more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sleeping out in the open in the hills in Thailand, after being convinced by my host that there were no bugs to worry about (he lied)
Clichéd sunrises and dolphins
Thierry Henry netting four at Highbury
Teach, Learn, Share
Those who can't do teach. I don't do anything, so I guess I'd be a good teacher.
