About Me

Hey - here’s some stuff about me.

My current goal with CouchSurfing is making new friends & business connections, and to test the waters of NYC.

I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. By day I’m a Licensing and Relationship Development Agent for an Electronic Dance Record Label. By night I produce music and DJ most weekends here in SLC.

Two years ago I backpacked and CouchSurfed through Western Europe for a month, by myself. I went to France, England, Spain, Italy, Scotland, Ireland; I returned home not only with knowledge and love for the world that’s out there, but also with drive for getting where I want in life - so I can travel more! Ha.

I’m very happy to say that the business and music areas of my life are absolutely incredible. One of the coolest perks of my job is that I can work from anywhere in the world, and NYC has always called my name.

When I’m not working, spinning or writing (which is rare) I try to be with my loved ones, friends, family, or get outside in the sunshine. I love to read, write, amateur-sketch, and I’m hoping to pick piano up again soon.

I like to think I’m a cordial guy with an open ear to the people and world around me. I have an old soul; I love the small things and the big, and I do my best to soak up the life I live everyday. I work hard towards what I want, and reap the benefits of it with good old fun. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had in incredible experience CouchSurfing through Europe by myself, meeting new people across the world - and I hope to do the same for my short stay in NYC. I'll be visiting for a week as a nice getaway, and partially to see if I'd like to move there soon.

Staying with NYC locals is the perfect opportunity to learn your way of doing things in The City, your favorite places to go, and the do's and don'ts. I'd like to do some tourist-stops, but I'm also really interested in seeing the "local living" way of things; coffee shops, price of living, hole in the wall places. I appreciate everything in advance, and if you'd like we might be able to check out some spots together if I have the time.
