Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted generously in the past, and surfed while traveling on an 18 month sabbatical. I currently am not traveling much, and do not have availability to host. I'm open to meeting up, sharing ideas, and diving off into adventures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've generally had amazing conversations with surfers that I have hosted, and usually have them join me and my friends in whatever activity were enjoying at the time from sitting in a documentary filming to running to watching local garage bands play at a benefit. I love the CS community and the collaborations that it has the potential to inspire.

Music, Movies, and Books

When at home I collect vinyl (primarily blues, psych, punk, and francophone artists). I go to shows, and enjoy creating music along or with friends.

I don't watch many movies, but enjoy older movies when I do.

I read extensively, generally preferring non-fiction or the classics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hitch-hiking in Alaska... climbing 6,000m Himalayan peaks...riding an indian passenger train with an unreserved sleeper class ticket... in summer... for 20+ hours

I have lived in Texas my entire life, and can give you a brief (or extended) Texas history lesson.
I love organic farming and love to teach, learn, and share!
