About Me

Hey there, I am a curious bird. Love to be near the ocean and look forward to trying new food and learn about other cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been in advertising, branding, and design for a while now and kinda hit a burnout wall over the last few years. My carrier is in a stall, my marriage has failed, and I really want to find my fire and my way forward.

I want to live and work abroad and be able to come home to my kids every few weeks and inspire them to life with passion and adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a ten day trip to Panama in October of 2016, stayed at Raquel's Ark animal rescue in Volcan. Got to feed and care for Sloths, Margay, Coyote, Owles and much more. Learned about aquaponics systems that use sharks, blue gill, and plants to create high quality food.

Visited the Caribbean and the Pacific sides, traveled to the frontier plantation towns near Costa Rica. Took a motor boat out to angry monkey island and ate my first Pacific style lobster.

Every day my guide and I traveled over 2-4 hrs all over the country. All along we had Her young howler monkey Boomer along. Boomer always got lots of attention.
