Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Meave & I got into CS while living in Busan, South Korea. We loved the hosting experience, and had a some great people come and stay with us in our tiny shoe-box flat.
The shoe was on the other foot when we set off for an 8-month trip taking in Asia and the middle east, where we got to try our hand at surfing in India, Malaysian Borneo and Egypt.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
100% of the people I know through CS are wonderful. This network truly has the most interesting and vibrant participants. I'm now looking forward to meeting some interesting people coming through London.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling has allowed me to experience some pretty incredible things. I've been a guest of honour at a Batak funeral in Samosir. I've celebrated Eid-al-Fitr with a family in Fatehpur Sikri (by ritually slaughtering a goat). I've swum with bio-luminescent algae at midnight in Sarawak (with my CS friends John and Cynthia)... and that's all since I've signed up for CS.
Countries I’ve Visited
