Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friends and I were generously given a place to stay in Munich during Oktoberfest when we needed it in 2013. It helped our backpacking trip out a lot. In turn, I've offered my apartment to backpackers. The Couchsurfing philosophy is one that I appreciate a great deal; I could not have received these opportunities with Airbnb or hotels.
