About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See the world, meet its people, live an interesting life.

ABOUT ME

I'm an optimistic, outgoing guy, always up for new experiences and for meeting new people. Travelling is my major passion and I'm willing to try any form of transport to do it; from motorbiking to hitch-hiking.
I like to think that I'm easy to talk to, easy to get on with and accepting of new and different things.

PHILOSOPHY

"Utopianism is, as Plato taught us at the outset, the fire with which we must play because it is the only way we can find out what we are."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After having surfed across America on a motorbike trip I've tried to give back by hosting in the UK.
My fiancee and I spent last year travelling the world and having again stayed with amazing people want to give back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed quiet a bit now and that's increasing everyday!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking to Morocco from England was one of the most amazing and eye-opening experiences of my life. It proved to me that there are complete strangers out there willing to perform huge acts of kindness and that they don't fill any stereotype.
(For a cheeky second one; Riding a motorbike across North America)

Teach, Learn, Share

Always be willing to ask, because if you don't you may miss out.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Just because it's not immediately obvious that you'll get something out of hosting someone doesn't mean you shouldnt. Remember what it was like when you were surfing, and if you haven't surfed. DO IT!!
