Sobre mí

ABOUT ME

I was a high school teacher in the public school system in the City of New York. I've had the privilege of teaching my students about ancient history, modern history, global history, American history, American government, and economics (capitalism), and personal finance throughout the last few years. When I'm not teaching I'm usually traveling. I went to over 30 countries during my last several years as a teacher. I now work in the Comptroller's Office of the City of New York. I do presentations about government functions, audits of city agencies, get money to people who were underpaid, and I sit on the board of several business improvement districts. Traveling is one of my main passions because it allows me to delve into the experiences of people in a locale other than my home city of New York. I'm always looking forward to more travel and meeting more new and interesting people.
