Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn how to better market my coaching and my online courses (see breakthroughcircle.com) so that I can work from anywhere and explore/adventure my way around the globe, one trip at a time.
ABOUT ME
I am an eclectic adventurer. I live a mythic life and am intensely interested in cultivating breakthroughs, teaching and learning, engagement and empowerment, mythology, storytelling, Jungian and archetypal psychology, shadow-work, psychospiritual healing, shamanism, eastern thought, metaphysics, intuition development, and Transformation of all types. My conversations inevitably wander to these realms, but I can let go and party, too. I recently moved to Asheville, NC and I can recommend or take you to good coffeeshops, great restaurants, some impressive waterfalls, the Blue River Parkway (which is 2 miles from me), and lots of good hiking spots. On the weekends, I can take you ecstatic dancing as well :)
PHILOSOPHY
Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf and host and explore the world with CS as an important link for connecting to the natives.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Awesome surfing experiences in Paris, London, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Harlem, Yuma Az, Santa Fe, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Ann Arbor & Detroit. I've enjoyed hostels quite a bit as well.
Interests
For fun (and to earn a living), I staff personal transformation weekend retreats and lead Wildman retreats and adventure trips into the Wildest places of Ireland. I also go deep underground exploring caves and seek out adventures of all types. I am scuba certified and hope to do some cave diving at some point. I plan to get high alot this summer...I have pre-purchased skydiving tickets, a small aircraft flight lesson, and have already had a helicopter lesson.
When I'm not chasing adventure, I dance with friends at our weekly ecstatic dance event or occasionally at nightclubs. I am an opportunist...there are few things I won't try. Even with all this extrovert energy, I can still get still at times and enjoy the quieter pleasures of friends and loved ones.

Music, Movies, and Books
Fairy and folk tales of all types, historical fiction, YA lit, world music, Celtic music, indie, folk, or foreign films...any film with a good story
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Carried my scared 8 year old daughter out of a volcano on my back, with scree rolling about underneath my feet (taking her into the volcano was perhaps a bad dad moment...but hey...it was a dormant volcano!)
Spent the night at a fairy crossing (where locals refused to go) in an ancient stone circle in southwest Ireland
Hiked the rain forest in Maui.
Scuba dived in the very scary night waters of the Pacific Ocean...and lost my flashlight and a fin
Skin dived through underwater arches off of Hawaii and way too close to the rocky shore during the rough tide.
Almost got pulled out to sea during a tidal wave off the rocky coast of Slea Head near Dingle, Ireland...the sea took my glasses, but then showed me the way to a crystal cave, where I received a gigantic crystal in return.
Explored many different caves in Missouri
Hostelled from coast-to-coast...I love meeting new friends from around the world
Teach, Learn, Share
I know some great fairy and folk tales and love to tell them. I offer a distinct type of tarot reading in which I use a jungian oracle deck and facilitate you to read your own cards to bring greater clarity to yourself.
I can lead you thru bio-energetic processes to help you cultivate a breakthrough, get in touch with your inner child, critical voice, or various sub-personalities, shadow selves or repressed archetypal energies. I also know quite a few things about K-12 education, educational publishing, and sales.
