Présentation
À propos de moi
Current Mission
See new places whilst meeting lovely people.
About Me
I have recently finished studying in Galway, in the west of Ireland. I am from a farm in Dublin, 20 minutes drive from the city centre, which was nice growing up as I had the best of both worlds. I have one brother and lucky enough to have both parents. I'm now studying a Master of Public Policy at University College Dublin, and I love it. So excited to learn.
Philosophy
I try to treat others as I would like to be treated - basic and common I know, but I really think that it's the best way for me to live. I dislike arrogance in people, although there is reason for it, it just can be unpleasant.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I have surfed with a friend in Paris and on my own in the South of France where I became very good friends with my host, my only reference here! I don't get to surf a lot but love it.
I really enjoyed my experience. It gave me a lovely insight into how people want to meet new people in a quickly developing world, which may sometimes seem closed off. I guess you just have to look for doors to open!
Centres d'intérêt
I love art, architecture, drawing, yoga, languages, running, cooking, reading, and knitting. I've recently started a blog which may give a nice insight into my life or values. Its in its infancy and was partially dormant over the summer.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
Open to all, but I love childhood films, I watch Matilda on my birthday every year. Foreign language films, including cheesy ones like Amelie because the transport me into another world.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I've had a fortunate life growing up on a sheep/cattle farm and learning the tricks of the trade. I got to fly a plane when I was 14, which was an achievement when I was younger! I've travelled a lot for someone my age, much in America, including venturing up Mount Rainier, and living in Seattle for a summer when I was 18. I studied the History of Art and Architecture for a year in Trinity in Dublin along with Italian, before moving to Galway to study Podiatry. I researched for a dictionary of Irish Architecture - which was published in 2014, so my name is in a book! I love that. haha. When I was 20 I moved to Italy for the summer, but wasn't enjoying it enough(no offence intended) so I left and moved to Paris, living in an 11m squared apartment with two of my very best friends, who are now like my sisters, without the fighting! My most recent achievement is completing my university degree to a high standard even though it wasn't the right path for me.However, I am lucky enough to have had some lovely journeys during that time. I am now seeking new ones! More recently I got to canvass and campaign for Ireland's same sex marriage referendum. This was an incredible experience made possible by my fellow citizens and residents who supported the campaign so strongly.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
Those who are happy in themselves! Motivated, but able to dream, and inspirations to turn that into a reality. I love learning anything from people, both good and bad, although the bad is a harder lesson to take, it is still of value. However, it is not a lesson I look for!
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
I'd like to just share experiences and stories, maybe coffee!
