ABOUT ME
It's been said (by me possibly?) that I have a selective memory, but I don't get to select...maybe that sums me up.
I graduated in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Leeds in 2007. I spent four years learning the splendours of real ale with a generous helping of fencing (who doesnâ
PHILOSOPHY
Ah what the hell, I'll give it a bash.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've not been in a position to host much, but have been to CS meetings in several different countires and have met lots of great people.
One day I hope to be able to give more back when I have a place where I have the say!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Three week road trip/couch surf in America with my mate Drew, this has given me an insatiable lust for travelling.
I did some travelling around this fine globe we call the World, and Couchsurfed or met up with CSers in a few countries.
Interests
Things that fly, because they are cool, even if its just paper aeroplanes!
Interestingly (or not, maybe) my interests at the moment are somewhat at a loose end. But Raleigh International is taking up most of my interest at the moment.
On the other hand I make a terrible attempt at trying to play the guitar and have recently bought a Ukelele to add to the collection.
I am a supporter of traditional British beer called Real Ale. Now this is a far cry from your regular mass produced lagers, it comes in a huge range of styles and flavours, a certain must for any traveller that comes to the UK.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love books, usually got one on the go. Read far to many to list but some of my favourites are I am Legend, Forever war, Lord of the Flies, Day of the Triffids.
I'm all up for a movie sometimes, I'm quite partial to a zombie comedy horror movie, or some combination of that.
Musicwise I'll give anything a listen once, so bring on the your obscurest music to listen to...but don't ask me to remember names of bands or songs (even popular things), I'm bad at remembering them.
Teach, Learn, Share
Maybe I'll be able to teach you something.
I would love to learn how to cook some funky dishes!
Hopefully I'll be able to share an insight into the world as I see it.
