Overview
About Me
I grew up in Sydney, Australia and spent the first 20 years of my life never leaving a small part of the country. I started travelling two years ago and have been on 6 overseas trips since then (I caught the travel bug). I'm a recent university graduate who is looking to head back to university to study Medicine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it's far better to be able to meet the local people when travelling to a new destination than it is to only mingle with other tourists. I've stayed in dozens of hostels and the people I enjoy talking with most are the ones who run it, who know the local area, and can tell me about what living in these places is like. Everything I have heard about Couchsurfing has been positive so it only makes sense to give it a go.
Interests
Traveling - I love traveling, seeing new places, and learning about the history of both the country and the people in places that I visit.
Food - One of the best things about travel is the ability to immerse yourself in the food culture of the location which you're in. I love to try new foods and explore the differences between similar foods in different places.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - Red Hot Chili Peppers, rock, pop, indie, pretty much everything as long as there is a well put together set of lyrics and music.
Movies - Lord of the Rings, Quentin Tarantino films, Pixar movies, Harry Potter. I've watched a lot of TV shows - love Game of Thrones, Suits, The Simpsons, Futurama, FRIENDS, How I Met Your Mother.
Books - a mix of fantasy, epic fantasy, biographies, war books, philosophical books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Running with the Bulls in Pamplona 2016 was one of the craziest, most dangerous, exhilarating and enjoyable things I have done in my life. Despite the cruelty of bull fighting which is an integral part of the San Fermin Festival, I found it to be one of the most culturally mind-opening experiences of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach a basic level of guitar or piano, a few card games, chess.
Would love to learn the basics of the language of whichever country I am in and am very interested in history.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share stories about my travels and information regarding most things in Australia
