About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Challenge the globe with adventure, exploring, hitchhiking and couchsurfing. It will be an epic journey.

ABOUT ME

I'm up for an adventure. And I'm not easy to miss - standing at 6ft 8 is an advantage to referee on the rugby union field. I love getting outdoors, particularly to New Zealand, where the hiking is an absolute must! I'm really open to getting out there and meeting new people, whether locals or fellow travellers. Really keen to try my hand at some communal living, or volunteer work in agriculture, or education which I do plenty of at home! I'm passionate about helping others out and assisting with social issues. But mostly I'd love to have a chat and meet you all!

PHILOSOPHY

Put yourself out there, and you will be surprised of the extent of the generosity of others. Leave a place the way you left it, if not a little better!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a brand new member to couchsurfing. I'll be keen to try it out overseas and hopefully bring it back to help some travellers out back at Wollongong!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm completely new to couchsurfing. I have some friends who have tried their hand at it before, and it sounds like a fantastic, genuine experience to meet some amazing and generous people.

Interests

Rugby Union, Football, Music, social justice, church and community, books, films, TV shows...But mostly love getting outdoors and exploring the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving and bungy jumping- highly recommend both! I'll never do bungy jumping again but skydiving is such an amazing adrenaline rush. Totally worth doing!

Teach, Learn, Share

Would love to learn about the languages and history of the countries I'll be visiting. Also want to learn about cultural norms of the countries I'll be visiting, as well as how I can help them out.
