To introduce world travelers to the Minnesota I know and love and to engage in that enigmatic, esoteric discourse that travelers so often expound.

ABOUT ME

I'm from the famous burb of Fargo, ND of which you may have seen the movie. Since high school I have lived mostly in MN except for 4 years where I moved back to Fargo. Now I'm in my new home...Buffalo MN... home of the Bison...as was Fargo ( if you know your college sports ). I'm a unemployed teacher in Social Studies...love geography and I pass the time by working at the local Pizza joint and basically solving all the worlds problems in my head but doing basically nothing about them sadly.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to find the truth in this world and that definitely has it's challenges as it's dynamic. My family is important to me as I'm now a father and so that has affected my world outlook. I hope my views and healthy skepticism will help my children see the world for all it's greatness and it's faults; I dislike American Exceptional-ism and try to my best to treat all people I meet like what they are: citizens of the world. One of my least favorite sayings is " Respect is Earned". No...it's not...I respect people until they give me a reason not to. Granted that may take about 1 second but why should I start off NOT respecting you?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have yet to participate in couchsurfing directly but I know of people who have so I think it's time I jump on the bandcouch.

None to date but alas, it shall change one far off day.

This is far too complicated. I like all 3 of these things. Generally the more of a cult following it has, the more I'd like it. But in all honesty I enjoy all things of all genres.

Probably my most memorable trip was a 2 week escape to Alaska with my wife. Sadly my foreign adventures are rather lacking.
