ABOUT ME
I started going by my middle name about a year ago, so there are several things on here talking about Mike. That's me, just a previous incarnation.
I am taking this year to reflect on the path I am creating in my life. I've been on the road for a few months, and keep getting a clearer sense of what is ACTUALLY happening:
1. Shaking off my well-intentioned midwest security-driven thinking. Where's the next paycheck coming from, you need a place to live, etc.
2. Removing myself from stability to uncover my deeper desires and dreams.
3. Figure out the next way I can give back (I like that better than "make money")
4. Meeting and learning from incredible, inspiring people.
PHILOSOPHY
We have no idea how powerful and sacred each of us are.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I got off the plane in Thailand at 2 AM, I found a hostel and went straight to meet people at a bar/restaurant. I met these folks who just got back from staying at an elephant rehabilitation center. I decided that was where I was going next. The next morning I got on a bus, and drove 4 hours west, was picked up in the back of a truck and drove straight to the river to bathe the elephants. They have personalities! And will play "throw the tiny human off my back" for hours. Cutting banana trees for feeding, moving dung, and other work on the land took up the rest of they days. Simply incredible.
