ABOUT ME

My name is James and I am a 24 years old and travelling around Taiwan.

PHILOSOPHY

I am looking to learn Chinese, 3rd generation, since my grandparents came from chaozhou, and this is the main aim of my travelling this time around.

I am also looking to learn more about Chinese culture, especially Taoism and ancestral worship and Taiwan to me seems to be a place which has maintained many of the Chinese traditions. I also like to try new food and I am up for anything

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time couchsurfing and I have no idea what to expect from this.

Interests

Eating good food, going out for a drink at the pub, going to museums (anything with an interesting piece of history to it), learning about other people's take on the world and generally exploring.
