Overview
About Me
Hi Surfers,
I can't host at the moment, I am in the process of relocating from NYC to Nashville.
Will update my hosting status when I can, and hope to host you after that.
CURRENT MISSION
Learning about business through my day job. Focusing my energy outside work to "Song A Week" -- a songwriting group I started.
Details = www.songaweek.org
ABOUT ME
Musician, pet lover, total work in progress. Raised in the midwest by British parents, still figuring out how to be an adult in America. I have a lot of questions.
PHILOSOPHY
Communication is so important! Also I need to remember to let go.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosted a few travelers when I lived in Wisconsin, but my experience is mostly surfing while touring the USA with my band Union Pulse. Here's our band's old profile with references: www.couchsurfing.com/people/union_pulse
Started hosting in January of 2017, shared my small studio apartment with several great guests. Can't host at the moment, will update this profile once I'm settled in Music City.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All positive. Really, every single couch surfing experience has been great. Met so many people across the country with amazing stories. Haven't surfed outside the USA yet, but it's on my bucket list.
Interests
I sing and play guitar, I love to travel, I like hanging out with animals, walking around new cities, browsing pawn shops and thrift stores, watching good movies, learning about new people, trying new food, helping friends accomplish their goals, lots of stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent the winter of 2013 in Mexico, learning Spanish from scratch and recording 2 solo albums. Then I got rid of everything owned, couch surfed Memphis and New Orleans for the summer, and relocated to NYC with 2 messenger bags and an acoustic guitar.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm afraid to admit it, but I could probably benefit greatly from learning how to cook. I really don't know where to start.
I can teach a lot about communication. I can also teach some music -- basic theory, performance and practice on guitar / bass / piano / drum set, and songwriting.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share great stories, very corny jokes, a lot of enthusiasm, also a lot of patience and good listening, a ton of attention to your pets, genuine interest in anything you are passionate about, and respect for your space - personal and otherwise.
