I'm a techie nerd who loves the outdoors. I'm a cat person with a soft spot for old dogs. I love both Bjork and black metal.

I'm currently embarking on a three month road trip across the US and Canada. I'm so excited to be free of the daily grind and to visit places of enormous beauty. I love mountains, clouds, birds, and piercing bright stars, which are hard to come by in Cincinnati.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted and surfed many times. Most of that experience is reflected on my girlfriend's account (user: BIRDSOFAFEATHER). I have met up with dozens of couchsurfers at events and parties--which is where I really got into CS! In Columbus and Cincinnati, my girlfriend and I have hosted over a dozen times. Sometimes planned, sometimes not! That's the nature of couchsurfing.

I love a good, intellectual conversation or to just chat about good food, beer or music! I've been collecting records since I was 4. I've played in an indie folk band and a doom metal band in the wonderful Columbus local music scene. In my spare time, I create weird websites, I'm learning to play blues guitar, and I take photos.
