About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Short trips in North America in-between school... hopefully further afield too.
ABOUT ME
Explorer, reader, runner. Worked in quite a few jobs. Travelled around the world. I've some drive for a career balanced with an exploratory drive.
PHILOSOPHY
Pretty liberal, open-minded - I know everyone says they are open minded but I am.
I enjoy throwing a spanner in the works in some blase liberal complacency.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Meeting locals in cities I travel always makes a trip more enjoyable. I try to attend events when I'm in the cities. I occasionally couch-surf, mixing up my accommodations with hostels. I haven't hosted yet in Canada but I am open to that if a traveller doesn't mind the current quiet and studious domestic situation.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started using couchsurfing in China. Worked great. I have not used it much in Canada but am open to hosting.
Interests
Reading... genre fantasy and a wide range of history.
Running, long distance, track and field.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite books - Silmarillion and Candide. A read in spurts. Mostly history, some fiction.
I prefer my movies more light-hearted than the books I read. Occasional read a comic or watch television although not religiously.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've worked on a farm, service sector, construction site, army and 10 different offices. I love working in new places.

Teach, Learn, Share
Learn: I love history and learning about different cultures. I'm a curious but ultimately un-gifted linguist.
I'd also be happy to work with any writer in my sporadic attempts to write a novel.
