About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel the world with the woman I love (Tracy Steiner), and to make connections with the people that inhabit it.
ABOUT ME
I live in Montreal, Canada. My favourite things in life are family, friends, music and traveling. My first experience of independent travel was when I was 14 years old and I was on a school trip to France. From that time on I was hooked! I see traveling as more of an education than a vacation. My goal in life is to visit and experience as many countries and cultures as I can before I die.
I consider myself easygoing and pretty funny, although you couldn't really tell from my writing style. I'm not very picky, have an open mind and am always open to try new things . I'm a good friend to have because I'm probably the most punctual person you will ever meet. I hate lying and I never go against my word.
ABOUT TRACY
Tracy has been backpacking to far off lands before the advent of smart phones, digital photography and wifi. Her love of adventure and wanderlust brought us together and continues to bring us closer day by day. She has interesting stories of surviving shark attacks in Malaysia, inadvertently snuggling with a lion in Kenya and living in Saudi Arabia just for kicks.
PHILOSOPHY
I think it can be summed up as carpe diem. Although cliche I know, I really do think it speaks volumes about how we want to live our life together. We work to live and not vice versa. We would like to make an impression on everyone we meet and hope that the people we meet have the same impact on us.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In 2007, I had stayed at the homes of 3 guys I had met while traveling in Europe the year before. Although my friend and I had only hung out with them for a few days, or in certain cases, a few hours the year before, they allowed us to crash at their places without hesitation. The fact that they allowed us to stay with them for more than just a day and the ridiculous hospitality we received, forged an amazing friendship. To this day we still keep in touch and have had them stay at our place when they visited our city. It blew my mind to find out that there is a community (CS) that utilizes this concept and allows people from all over the world to meet and have similar experiences to the one I had a few years ago.

What I Can Share with Hosts
Tracy and I are very respectful, tidy, quiet (when we need to be), and are extremely open to new cultures and ideas. We love a great conversation and look forward to meeting people from all walks of life.
