I am a very laid back person who takes most things in my stride. I guess I'm a bit of a nerd and tech geek (love my gadgets) but I also love nature and seeing wildlife and cool and exotic places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to experience a different type of travelling that big hotels and tour guides cannot offer, a more personal touch with local knowledge.

I want to connect with people from different places and cultures and hope to make new friends while getting a truer experience of their country.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too hard to choose a favorite movie, but.... Star Wars, Alien films, Gladiator, LOTR + Hobbit have all been favorites as I've watched them.

Music, I don't have a set genre, I guess I like anything that catches my mood or spirit at that moment.

Books...... erm, I don't read much. I grew up around computers and games and they were my childhood entertainment and followed through into adulthood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most amazing, fun and crazy moment of my life was riding in the back of a Songthaew (Pickup truck with used as a bus in Thailand) in Pattaya during Songkran (Water festival marking Thai new year) firing and getting fired upon with water guns!! I have an awesome FPV video for anyone interested.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to teach nerdy tech and science stuff (usually to people who aren't interested)

I want to learn a new language and be fluent enough to use it. (trying Thai but its pretty difficult)

I like to share funny life events and since I have contracted the travel bug usually overshare how much I love Thailand and want to go back.
