I'm a 29 yo guy just trying to see more of the world and experience life any possible way. I consider myself a free spirited person, with a big heart and open mind. Most people would consider me a good friend. I can be shy until I get to know you and then I tend to talk a lot more. I'm generally pretty tidy as far as tidiness goes. I get along really well with girls generally, in fact most of my friends are girls...I think they feel "safe" around me because I'm gay. I find most guys pretty easy to get along with too since I am pretty laid back and easygoing myself. I like to go out and have fun with friends, or go for walks and explore new places. I don't do "drugs" and I only drink and smoke on occasion. Hope to see ya soon!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm traveling at the moment from Eugene, Oregon to Portland, Oregon, and then off to San Francisco, CA near the end of July 2015. I'm just trying to see more of the world (if you can call the west coast the world) and live in new places before I'm old.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a variety of music, from Jewel, to U2, more recently Bastille, and Tokio Hotel, even country music and Techno. Whatever is on the radio. My favorite movies are Breakfast At Tiffanys, Anna and The King, Great Expectations (with Ethan Hawke) and Jurassic Park...lots more too! I get distracted easily so I'm not a big reader, but I'm working on Waldon, and a few books by Thich Nhat Hanh...and the Hobbit was great!

Most people say I am positive by nature and it rubs off. I'm also great at listening to people and try to give advice where I can. It's all about staying positive and being the best version of yourself you can possibly be. Never let other people get you down just because they can't see things the way you do. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but it doesn't have to affect you. Just listen and try to understand.
