About Me

I am a 23 year old American with a strong intest in world travel. I have done relatively little travel so far in my life, but I spent three months in various parts of Europe in 2015 and I will be returning this February. Where exactly I'll be throughout the month and a half that I will be there is somewhat subject to circumstance.
I am an open-minded and positive-thinking person with positive intentions. I love interacting with interesting people, especially children. I love animals, being outside, playing my guitar, cooking and skateboarding.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like many of you on Couchsurfing, I am using this site to hopefully find cheap places to stay, but more importantly to meet some interesting and open people. Over the three months I spent in Europe, the most interesting people I met were people who were interested in traveling frugally and somewhat loosely. I would like to meet more people like this.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To raise money for my first trip to Europe, I planned, managed, and executed an eight-course dinner event for eighty people. I wrote the whole menu, executed all of the prep, ordered and paid for all of the product, and walked away with enough money to move out of my apartment and survive for a while in other countries.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am interested in learning about other people experiences, especially those that can serve to improve the quality of ones own life or the lives of others. I am also quite interested to learn about the languages, food, and traditions of people who I encounter.

I can teach about cooking, guitar technique, English, and probably many other things depending on what you are interested in learning.

I am looking to share thought-provoking and action-provoking ideas and experiences. And of course good meals.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If circumstances allow, I would be very happy to cook for anyone who accepts me into their home. I can also share music (I will hopefully be able to bring a guitar with me), and if there is work to be done where youre living, I'll try my best to share able hands and mind.
