About Me

POTENTIAL SURFERS, PLEASE SEE THE ADDITIONAL NOTES IN THE MY HOME SECTION OF MY PROFILE BEFORE REQUESTING TO SURF :)
I am 22 years old, am often described as quirky and curious. I love to laugh, can get comfortable anywhere and I entertain easily which I like to think makes me "low maintenance."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are a few reasons as to why I have chosen to pursue Couchsurfing. Firstly, I am very open to meeting new people as I recognize the value of creating genuine connections with others. By carrying myself in this way I have found that the smallest interactions with people can lead to the craziest adventures and the greatest teachings. Secondly, I see Couchsurfing as an avenue for truly experiencing an area you wish to explore. Spending time with and gaining perspective from those that LIVE in an area as opposed to just visiting seems like a much more enriching and enjoyable way to travel.

Interests

Generally, I like to engage in physical activities, and prefer to spend my time out of doors! That being said I am always keen on lounging around and taking my sweet time to explore.

  • photography
  • dancing
  • eating out
  • music
  • hiking
  • snowboarding
  • relaxing
  • learning new things
  • paddling

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not discriminate with music. I dabble in all genres! My favourite movie is Ferris Bueller's Day Off - I like to think his values are similar to mine. I am faithful to the "Friends" TV series and to the Harry Potter audiobooks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed the highest mountain in Mongolia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share some good stories and some bad jokes. I am always looking to learn from others. I can teach a basic sea kayaking lesson, have a bit of knowledge in plant identification and often drop some random useless facts on a variety of topics.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a reciprocal guest or friend! I make excellent company, especially over dinner! I am also capable in the kitchen and will always help with the dishes and cleanup.

Countries I’ve Visited

Mexico, Mongolia, South Korea, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada
