I'm an adventure-seeking board game designer, comedian, and general creative-type! I've finally mustered up the courage to travel on my own to gather inspiration for my various projects, and am eagerly looking forward to traipsing around the country!

I'm trans/nonbinary - you're equally likely to see me in a dress and heels as oxfords and a buttondown. I use gender-neutral pronouns [they/them], and the desire to get them right and be respectful is much more important than ACTUALLY getting my pronouns right. Getting them wrong is nothing to worry about as long as you care!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to learn about how people in other cities and towns live their lives, journal in cute cafes, and reconnect with nature. My primary goals for my travels are [1] to explore new environments, and [2] have a balance of interacting with people I'd never meet otherwise and nourishing myself with alone-time away from the city.

I believe it's vital for everyone to get out of their home shell sometimes - I've been reticent towards it in the past due to loving the comforts of home so much, but now can't wait to experience the rest of what the world has to offer!
