I have spent the past 8 years of my life to learning and practicing as a veterinarian (animal doctor). It is work that I feel very honoured to do. Most days I am so thankful of the opportunities I know I have been given already in this life.

The thought of seeing more of the world fills me with so much excitement it is like I am going to burst at the seams. My partner Dustin and I are planning a journey around as much as the world as our feet can take us. It is important to us that we experience each place as its true, unique self which I believe is through the people that live there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Any journey is made spectacular when people connect with each other along the way. Our experiences will be more extraordinary if we could learn and share from a local about a place that is new and fresh to me. I am looking forward to returning the gesture and sharing what is familiar to my life with others when my travels have reached there end.

Music, Movies, and Books

I confess I am a Harry Potter fan. A nostalgic love from my childhood.
Otherwise I chew through most books with enthusiasm. I mainly love scifi and fantasy but am open to new genres.

Cinema and move buff. With a brother and boyfriend that dream of becoming film nourishes my appreciation of this form of art .

I have some rusty ability at playing piano and can sing when I haven't croaked myself dry from my constant chatter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was lucky enough to have learnt from some amazing wildlife vets in South Africa and assisted on some incredible procedures on the beautiful wild animals. Nothing will ever compare to the rush I felt when I approached a sedated female rhino to cover her eyes whilst she was still standing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am at the very tender beginnings of learning Japanese. Would be happy to help with English in any way I could. Can teach basic piano and give veterinary advice ;)
