About Me

I am currently studying Biology at the University of Birmingham, England. I am a kind, engaging and friendly person who loves to meet new people and explore new places. I am a vegan who is passionate about animal rights and would happily cook nice food for a host.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hope to experience a new place with local people and make a group of global lifelong friends. The aim would to see them in their house and then welcome to my house also.

Interests

I am passionate about travel, people, veganism, animal rights, the environment and keen to always learn about social injustice. I love nature, feeling most comfortable when in the wide outdoors, often in a new place. To see animals, plants and cultures from other places around the world is a privilege I hope to have, sharing it with other like minded people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am fan of most music, hugely dependent on mood and country. Favourites at the moment would be political rap; Akala, Lowkey, Immortal Technique. As well as Ludovico Einaudi, Odesza.
Documentaries or series based around a true story are a real favourite: Icarus, 13th, When they see us. Black mirror is also great!
Try and read as much as I can, mainly non-fiction around current affairs, geopolitics, environment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On one scary day in Swaziland when myself and a group of friends saw a local man drown in a river, we managed to pull him out and resuscitate him. Thank goodness!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am doing this in order to learn, perhaps you'll be able to learn an odd bit from me too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could cook some lovely vegan friendly food, tell and listen to stories. Mainly just to interact with another human and learn from them.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Laos, Lesotho, Malawi, Myanmar, Namibia, Netherlands, South Africa, Swaziland, Viet Nam, Zambia

Countries I’ve Lived In

Botswana, England, Scotland, Thailand
