Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling alone can be a real bummer at times and meeting new people always turns things around. Mixed dorm hostels don't always feel safe as a young woman because your roommates are a gamble, but with couch surfing you get to see who you're staying with beforehand, and that feels comforting to me.
