Travel when I can. Have been to various places in Europe. And over the past few years a little further afield.

Be fun to meet some new people. Happy to share my knowledge of London acquired over the past ten years. Know a few tourist spots. How to rent a boris bike. And if you want to catch a random gig somewhere ... or play table-tennis (if you can forgive my ineptitude), then even better.

兴趣

Currently undertaking a PhD in International Environmental Law. Keeps me fairly busy. Otherwise,

Listen to all sorts of music. Usually attend 3-5 gigs per month. Play a few instruments - latest acquisitions are a small Korg drum machine and a Suzuki melodica. Trying to record some stuff with a friend. It's going rather badly.

Random indie film festivals. Passable knowledge of Japanese cinema.

Getting out of London and into the countryside. Hoping to do a bit more hiking when I get the chance.

Music-wise, all-sorts. Favourite bands: Deerhoof, Cat Empire, Tricot, Go! Team, Radiohead, Melt Banana, Flaming Lips, Hot Chip, Death From Above 1979, British Sea Power, Burial, Gogol Bordello ... and numerous others at any given time.

Movies: Edward Scissorhands, Science of Sleep, Himizu ... anything from big blockbusters to quirky Japanese indie.

Books: Love Haruki Murakami and Neil Gaiman.
