I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I love music, traveling, exploring cities and nature, good food and beer, and conversation. I've had the pleasure to do some traveling, most recently in SE Asia, and I hope to continue seeing more of the world and experiencing different cultures.

I'm a singer and artist in the process of figuring out what that means to me. For work, I run an arts and culture non-profit in a neighboring city. I help shape and express the values and culture of the city through arts and creativity. My work has inspired me and helped me appreciate other places, communities and their cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. I'm a singer, so I tend to listen to bands with great lead singers. I also like opera, musical theater, and art song. I'd say my absolute favorite band at the moment is Lake Street Dive.

I love stories, and there's nothing better than getting completely wrapped up in one, whether on a screen, stage, or in a book. I love Stephen Sondheim's musicals, and recently really enjoyed the movie "Call Me By Your Name."
