I love traveling and experiencing new cultures, new people, new worlds. My favorite kind of travel is just me and my backpack. I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel throughout SE Asia, Europe, Central and South America and Israel and the West Bank but having a voracious travel bug, there is always more to see and experience. My favorite part of traveling is meeting fellow travel enthusiasts who are hungry to experience the world, connect with others and see how truly beautiful this world is! Oh and did I mention wine? Yep wine and conversation a critical part of an excellent travel adventure.

Books: too many to name but The Rent Tent, The Geography of Bliss, Bartholomew, The Act of Listening, The Princess Bride, Learning to Fall: The Blessings of an Imperfect Life, Le Petite Prince, anything by Maya Angelou, Shel Silverstein and Toni Morrison.

Movies: It's a Wonderful Life, Defending Your Life, Citizen Kane, Brigadoon, E.T., Zootopia, The Philadelphia Story, Up.

Music: not much I don't like - pretty eclectic. World Music (love music in a language I don't understand) everything from 1930's jazz to modern day rock. Not a huge fan of country however.

Without question - having my two children. I loved every second of pregnancy, natural childbirth and every moment of life with them. They have made my heart bigger than I ever thought possible. They brought a magic to life I didn't know was there.
