I enjoy traveling and meeting new people. The mountains here feed my soul.
I'm a bit of an introvert at times but I really enjoy getting into good conversations and enjoying activities with others. Let's go on a hike or play a board game!
I really enjoy cooking and it's even better if I can share something tasty with a group be it a full dinner or just dessert. I haven't sworn off meat entirely, however I really enjoy plant based cooking and exploring different culinary options across the board.
I enjoy hanging out with my fiancé Ben (he's the real couch surfer here). If I haven't updated this by Aug 2024 then replace fiancé with husband! :) Partner for life.
I adore our dog Obi - he's adventurous, playful, and a cuddler.
This past year I finally put my all into learning to snowboard and I can happily say I can make it down the mountain! You won't catch me going on any blacks yet though. ;)
Otherwise, you'll find me knitting, reading a sci-fiction novel or a cookbook, playing some video games, or maybe even planning an adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran a trail 50k race. It was amazing not only for the distance, but because it included running up a river for over a mile, swamp crossings, sand dunes, and off-trail navigation!
