I've been on the road with my boyfriend Gary riding a motorbike up the east coast of Africa to Europe for the last 6 months. Gary has been on the road for more than a year, riding down the west coast with his surfboard strapped to the bike, surfing every wave he could find and I jumped on in South Africa. We both traveled and lived abroad for several years in our 20's before we got our graduate degrees and started our careers. After several years as working professionals we both got itchy feet and decided we needed to travel again.

We both love to travel and wilderness backpacking. She loves swimming, hiking and running, and is a beginner surfer. He is an avid surfer and enjoys downhill mountain biking.
