Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I live on Edinburgh's Royal Mile, just 5 minutes from Edinburgh Castle, with a herd of tourists bustling around the whisky and tartan shops below. I want to travel the world on a limited budget, starting with a coast to coast trek across the USA, but most importantly I want to immerse myself in the world and meet friends who can show me their amazing cities and cultures. And it seems that as a Scot in my historic city I can offer that too.

I have a passion for cooking (and don't worry, it isn't all haggis, neeps and tatties) so can rustle up something tasty to share.
Hopefully can also share a wee dram' o Scottish whisky.
